Quotes cannot be given on certain larger jobs and Websites due to the intangibles and uncertainty of expectations inherent in such projects. With these projects, an estimate will be given initially, and only when concrete, written specifications have been established can a quote be made. Large amounts of time are invested in such projects and the complexity can reveal significant differences in perception of expectations. There are often changes and additions made during the duration of the project. As a quote cannot adequately address these possibilities, estimates must be made.
Website Design PolicyA consultation or series of consultaions will be used to establish the goals and details of the Website. A questionnaire will be worked through, and other details, and materials required for the construction of the Website will be gathered.
All design will be made on paper and details agreed upon before commencement of digital design or development.
Periodic consultation will be made between Visual Distraction and the Client during the design of all websites. The Client will be given the chance to review progress, advise on any adjustments required and sign-off on various stages as they are completed. Changes Policy
Changes to Websites
Once a website is completed to specification, any changes and/or updates to websites will be charged for at an hourly rate, unless a written maintenance agreement has been made in advance. Changes to printed material.
Changes may be made to the design of printed material only up until written approval of the design has been received by DigiSpin. A proof will be sent to the client prior to the material going to print and at this time the client is given the opportunity to check the details and request adjustments to the design if required.
As the basic design will have been established and agreed upon during the initial consultation, major changes should not often be needed.
